Edgartown News was born from the simple fact that I have ink and Dektol in my veins and I need to write and photograph more than I need air or food, and from my love for this little town where I grew up and raised my family, the town I have left a few times but can't quite shake for good. I met a couple of local fellas down town today (you guessed it, on my way to the hardware store, in search of electrical outlet safety covers this time), a rare and welcome occurrence in August.

Many are wistful for the good old days, I'm hearing lately - for the people, the town, and times gone by.

    Sure hope that you have a special place where you can keep all of these wonderful "townie"
