All's Well That Ends Well

 

I don't know much, but I do know this: What can go wrong will go wrong - guaranteed - and it's always something. I can’t believe I did this. A perfect day in my favorite place in my favorite kind of weather should have resulted in my best video yet, but somehow I managed to lose half my files along the way. Nevertheless, it was a great day, and I guess half a vlog is better than no vlog. Besides, the photographs are the main event, and I’m happy with them. As always - it’s a little chit-chat, some scenery, and a few photos at the end. The images you see here, and many more, may be seen and/or purchased in my gallery in Edgartown. This Changes Everything

January 26, and finally a wee bit of the white stuff. Having lived in Maine and Vermont at various times in my life and having experienced real winter, I have to say I do miss it. This little dusting will have to do. I love how snow changes everything, even if only briefly (because we all know this will turn into rain in very short order).

Posting one more from last week's storm while waiting for tonight's storm to hit. I can't say this enough: I love winter, I love snow, I love weather.

Snow Days 2015

Waking up to a drizzly, gray, and somewhat gloomy Friday morning - streets that were white and cushioned and quiet only two days ago are today wet and dirty, the traffic passing beneath my window once again humming and splashing along; back to normal, ho hum. I'm glad to have these moments to savor from our three delicious snow days.
