Welcome. Edgartown News was born from the simple fact that I have ink and Dektol in my veins and I need to write and photograph more than I need air or food, and from my love for this little town where I grew up and raised my family, the town I have left a few times but can't quite shake for good. Here you will find the wanderings and musings, photographs and commentary; the people, places, and happenings - past and present - of a small island town: my home town.

Last Day of March

It doesn't get much grayer around here than it's been this week, does it? Oh well, brighter days are coming.

I'm always glad to see Ralph Gross - this time, posed, appropriately, at Lenny's Drug Store corner. Ralph was pretty much the only other life form I encountered on my walk down-street on Thursday (the next time you see Ralph, be sure to ask him about his poetry - it's quite good).

A bit of welcome color at Fishermens' Pier.

Remember the Pent Lane house that was torn down [link] back in November? Here's its replacement.
